This Data Policy describes how Connect2Contact sources, verifies, stores, and handles contact data on our platform. It applies in addition to our Privacy Policy and is intended to give businesses visibility into the practices behind our verified, campaign-ready databases.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers two categories of data on our platform: (a) contact records included in our searchable database product, and (b) databases uploaded by clients for verification, structuring, or campaign activation. Both are handled under the safeguards described below.
2. Data Sourcing
Records in our platform's searchable database are aggregated from publicly available business directories, voluntarily submitted listings, and data shared by partner organizations under appropriate agreements. We do not knowingly source data through unauthorized scraping of restricted systems or through unlawful acquisition.
3. Verification & Review Process
Every record passes through a structured review pipeline before being marked verified. Trained operators check for formatting errors, duplicate entries, invalid numbers, and inconsistent categorization, and flag records that cannot be confidently verified.
4. Data Quality Standards
We aim for high accuracy across verified records, but we do not represent that any dataset is 100% error-free. Businesses are encouraged to report inaccurate records so they can be corrected or removed from circulation.
5. Storage & Access Controls
Contact data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure with encryption in transit. Internal access is limited to personnel who require it to perform verification, support, or platform operations, and is logged for audit purposes.
7. Client-Uploaded Data
Databases you upload for verification or campaign activation remain your data. We process it solely to deliver the service you've requested — verification, structuring, or campaign execution — and do not merge your uploaded contacts into our general searchable database product without your explicit authorization.
8. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of an uploaded database, or of specific records you control, at any time by contacting support. We will action verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal or contractual retention obligations.
